Data Management

Assessment Name

A name for this assessment (e.g., "Q3 2025 Assessment"). This is saved with your export file.

Export Data

Save a backup of all your scores and planning data to a JSON file on your computer.

Import Data

Load a previous assessment from a JSON file. Warning: This will overwrite all current data in your browser.

Reset Tool

Clear all scores, notes, and planning data from your browser. This cannot be undone.

About & Help

How to Use This Tool

This tool is a stand-alone web application to help you self-evaluate your current maturity posture across each of the CTI-CMM domains.

  1. Navigate Domains: Use the sidebar to select one of the 11 CTI-CMM domains.
  2. Choose Your Mode: Use the "Planning Mode" toggle in the sidebar.
    • Benchmark Mode (Off): Assess your `Current` maturity and add `Evidence`, `Point of Contact`, and `Notes`.
    • Planning Mode (On): Adds fields for `Target` maturity, `Target Date`, `Impact`, `Effort`, and `Priority`.
  3. Self-Assess: For each practice, select your Current and Target Maturity (0-3) using the clickable dot widgets. Your progress is tracked by the progress bars in the sidebar.
  4. Mark Practices Relevant: Use the "Relevant" toggle on the top right of each practice to include or exclude it from scoring.
  5. Auto-Save: All your entries are saved to your browser's local storage automatically. You can leave and come back at any time.
  6. View Results:
    • The Dashboard page shows your overall maturity and completion percentage for each domain.
    • The Priorities Sheet (available in Planning Mode) aggregates all your assessment items and helps you plan your improvement journey.

About this Tool

This web assessment tool is an alternative to the spreadsheet version of the CTI-CMM. It provides an interactive interface, auto-saving capabilities, import / export of results and a dashboard to visualize your maturity posture.
